Elsa

Elsa is a 1.4 year old spayed female mixed breed with Husky-type characteristics, currently in Oxfordshire. She is iElisa negative. Elsa is an affectionate and energetic young dog with a curious and intelligent nature. She enjoys human company and likes to be involved in daily activities. She has a playful and enthusiastic personality and benefits from regular physical and mental stimulation. Although lively, she settles well after exercise and enjoys resting alongside other dogs in the home. She is continuing to build confidence and can show assertive behaviour during energetic play. Elsa is friendly with adults and enjoys attention. Due to her size and excitable nature, she would be best suited to a home with older children. She enjoys rough-and-tumble play with other dogs and would benefit from living with a confident, energetic dog who matches her play style. She does not show food guarding. She is not suitable for homes with cats or small animals due to a strong chase instinct. She may bark at unfamiliar visitors and can appear anxious initially, but settles with calm, positive introductions. Elsa’s housetraining is still in progress and she will require continued consistency and supervision. She is not crate trained and becomes distressed if confined in a crate, particularly in the car, although she travels well once settled. She walks well on a harness and collar but is strong and energetic. She may become overexcited on grassed areas. Her recall is good in secure enclosed spaces, and she is more confident walking alongside another dog than alone.
