Clove

Clove is a medium-sized 1 year old female Cross-Breed who cannot live with cats, dogs, or children. She is currently based in Cheshire. Clove has recently been diagnosed as deaf, she will need a family who have experience with deaf dogs and can continue working with her. Clove currently shares a kennel with two other dogs and is fine with them, these dogs are her mother and father, she hasn’t shared with anyone that she isn’t related to. Clove does flinch if you move too quickly around her, especially when moving things or your hands above her head. She does try to grab the lead when going in the kennel with her but will let go once you start walking. Clove can be anxious around visitors which can cause her to show reactivity and fear aggression. She will need a home with minimal visitors and someone willing to work on these behaviours with her. Once trusted she is a very affectionate girl who loves belly rubs and cuddles with her favourite people. She loves her snuffle mats and absolutely loves her walks especially if it involves rolling around in the grass. Clove accepts a collar, harness and lead. She does walk okay however can get between your feet and does pull, she can be easily distracted with food on her walks to prevent any reactions and will mainly ignore everything. Clove is toilet trained but is not crate trained. She has never been destructive and can be left alone for up to 4 hours with no issues. She also sleeps well overnight. She however can be very anxious in the car and will panic and try to stay close to people, she has also been known to be sick and froth from the mouth.
