🐕 Cross-breedAdult5 yearsMaleNational
Zeus is a 5 year old male Cross-Breed and is medium in size, standing at approximately 55 cm in height. He is located in Buxton, Derbyshire.
A new year and a brand new beautiful and active home are being sought for Zeus. If you are an active household that enjoys open spaces and long walks, then Zeus could be the perfect boy for you.
Zeus is fully vaccinated. DhppiL4 vaccination: 28/04/2025 BiocanR vaccination: 07/04/2025
Blood tests: 4DX: Negative on 19/05/2025 Leishmania IFAT: Negative on 22/05/2025 CCP, CCV, Giardia antigen: Negative PCR Brucellosis: Negative
He is neutered and up to date with flea and worm treatments.
Zeus was once found alone on the road, wandering a busy street while cars sped past him. No one knows how long he had been there, but it was clear he was exhausted and vulnerable. Despite everything, he held onto hope and never gave up.
Zeus is a loving, energetic boy with a big personality and plenty of affection to give. He loves to play, enjoys long walks, and thrives when he has space to explore. His ideal home would have a large garden or be close to open fields where he can enjoy enriching outdoor time.
He is very people-oriented and adores cuddles and attention, forming close bonds with his humans. Zeus has been great with children and gets on well with other dogs, although he may need a little time to settle initially.
He could live happily with another dog or as the only dog in the home. However, Zeus is not suitable for a home with cats.
Zeus does experience some separation anxiety and would do best with someone who is home most of the time or able to offer plenty of companionship. When left alone, he has previously chewed, although this behaviour has improved significantly with consistency.
He loves his toys, especially soft teddies, which rarely survive very long. Zeus can sometimes show resource guarding around food treats, so a patient or experienced owner who understands this behaviour would be ideal.
On walks, Zeus can pull on the lead as he loves to sniff and explore. His lead manners are improving, but he does not currently have reliable recall, so continued training will be essential.
Overall, Zeus is a sweet, affectionate boy who will make a wonderful companion for someone able to offer time, structure, and daily long walks. He needs a committed and understanding home where he can finally settle and feel secure.
