Meet Aspen, a 6 month old male Hound Cross with a bright, affectionate personality and an incredible story of resilience. Born in March 2025, this handsome pup started life in Cyprus, where he was found abandoned and seriously ill with parvovirus — a condition often fatal in unvaccinated puppies. Thanks to expert veterinary care, Aspen made a full recovery and has since travelled to the UK, where he’s settling beautifully into foster life in South East London. Aspen is friendly, trusting, and full of character. He adores people and thrives on interaction, soaking up every bit of affection he’s offered. He’s clever, food-motivated, and loves one-to-one training sessions — anything that earns him praise or treats. He can live with other friendly dogs but would also be happy as the only dog in a home that gives him plenty of attention. Aspen’s best suited to a home without cats or small animals, and he’d do great with dog-savvy children aged 8 and up who understand he’s still in that bouncy, mouthy puppy phase. Aspen would love a home with access to a garden where he can play off lead. His ideal family will be home most of the day and able to build up his confidence being left alone gradually. With patience, structure, and love, Aspen will grow into the loyal, affectionate companion he’s meant to be.
