Wonderful Wallace is a 1 year 9 month old male German Shepherd cross Siberian Husky. He is a playful, intelligent, and active boy looking for an equally active owner. He likes to be outdoors and is inquisitive about his surroundings but can become overwhelmed at times and bark at things he is unsure of, including strangers. He will need an experienced and understanding person who can provide support and guidance when needed. He wears a muzzle when out and about purely as a safety precaution. However, Wallace is very affectionate with people he knows. He loves to lean in for attention and builds very strong bonds. He really enjoys his training and thrives on having a purpose. This handsome chap would suit owners who have the time and patience to continue his training and socialisation, as well as providing plenty of mental stimulation to keep him busy. He will make an incredibly fun, loving, and rewarding best friend in the right home. Wallace is looking for an active, all-adult home. To help with his training, it would be ideal if he could find a home in a rural or semi-rural area. He can live in a flat as long as there is direct access to a private garden. He could potentially live with another well-matched dog, subject to a successful meet at Mayhew. His new owner will be expected to continue his training and socialisation and will receive three free one-to-one sessions with a Mayhew Animal Behaviourist to help guide them. Wallace has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. He has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
