Sachiko

I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved. I need a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure! I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I'm a beginner on the harness. I will need practice in the garden first. I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. Please read below for more information about my health! Sachiko is a sweet lady who has come to us from a breeder. She is a little timid at the moment and relies heavily on her kennel friends, which means she hasn’t yet had the chance to show her true personality. She has a playful side, which comes out every now and again in the form of zoomies, which is the sweetest thing ever, and she also enjoys playing with some toys too. Her favourite thing, however, is definitely food! She’s a really quiet girl in general, but she will let her kennel mum know when it’s food time. She also enjoys treats and is more than happy to take them from her kennel mum's hands and eat near her, which is a good sign. Sachiko will need a kind, confident resident dog in her home to take her under their wing and help show her the ropes. She is always in bed with at least one of her kennel friends at the rescue. She’s not a fan of dogs that are too busy, and in her face, so a more placid resident dog would be better suited for her. She will also need an adult-only home with patient adopters to guide her as she learns about house training and practices walking on a harness, though starting with some gentle sniffs and exploration in the garden will be a great first step.
