Bramble

Meet beautiful Bramble, a 4 year old female Cross-Breed located in the UK. She’s a medium-sized girl with a stunning tri-colour coat of black, tan, and white. Her short, soft fur and expressive face make her truly eye-catching. Bramble is in great physical condition and already knows some commands. She’s friendly and attentive to her carers, though she can get attached to a favourite person and become a bit possessive. Because of that, she needs an experienced owner who can guide her gently but firmly and help her share her affection with everyone in the home. Once Bramble trusts you, she’s incredibly affectionate—she loves body contact and will happily curl up next to you. However, she can be nervous when meeting new people or during vet visits, so she’ll thrive best with someone who understands dogs with anxiety or past trauma. She’s been through a lot—12 months in the pound, then 9 months in her current home—and now she truly deserves stability and love. Bramble enjoys her walks, doesn’t pull on the lead, and gets along well with other dogs. A home with another calm dog companion would likely suit her well, but she cannot live with children. She’s playful, affectionate, and loves being part of family life—training, playing games, going for walks, or just lounging by the fire. She does have some lead reactivity and mild resource guarding, so an experienced, confident owner who can continue her positive reinforcement training is essential. Bramble is already muzzle-trained and has made impressive progress with exposure training—she’s gone from being reactive to sheep to calmly ignoring them! She thrives on affection, mental stimulation, and outdoor adventures, especially splashing in rivers (she’s working up to short swims and loving it!). She’s highly food-motivated, eager to please, and learns quickly when rewarded for her good behaviour.
