George

George is a 2-year-1-month-old male Pointer cross Vizsla. He is an exuberant, intelligent, and boisterous young dog who is still settling in and being assessed. George is full of energy and thrives on both physical activity and mental challenges. Without enough to do, he may become restless. George is confident, cuddly, and bouncy with adults. He enjoys affection but can be excitable, especially in new situations. He would do best with people who appreciate lively, working-breed types. An adult-only home would be ideal, though he could live with sensible teenagers aged 14 and over who are used to large, energetic dogs. George must be the only dog in the home. He is not suited to living with cats, small animals, or livestock due to his chasing instincts. George would prefer a semi-rural or rural setting rather than a busy urban area.
