Pongo

In his previous home, he was well-behaved indoors and settled nicely, but he did not get along with the teenage son. He is highly food-motivated, which makes training easier and more effective. His love for play is evident in his enthusiasm for games like fetch and tug-of-war. He also has sudden bursts of energy and enjoys zooming around the house. Pongo can be nervous around loud noises, unfamiliar people, and the dark. He will need a patient owner who can help him build confidence in these areas. Because of his reactivity, he requires a pet-free and adult-only home. Pongo is toilet trained and sleeps well through the night in his crate. He is also crate trained during the day and is comfortable wearing a collar, harness, and lead. Due to his reactivity, he prefers walks in quieter areas away from heavy distractions. He is reactive to people, dogs, and cats while on a walk and can be strong on the lead. However, he has been left alone for approximately four hours in the past without any issues. Pongo is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him fully prepared for his forever home. With the right environment and patient guidance, he can continue to build confidence and become a wonderful companion.
