Willow

She only has a few weeks to find a home, and we are a bit desperate. Thank you. Willow is a sweet and affectionate 6 year old female Cross-Breed dog who thrives in a calm and quiet environment. She prefers a peaceful home with minimal visitors and enjoys a steady routine. When out on walks, Willow dislikes heavy traffic and crowded areas but does well in open spaces where she can see an exit. She’s indifferent to other dogs but does not appreciate overly excitable or bouncy ones. At home, she is a loving companion who enjoys her early bedtime at 7:30 PM and sleeps soundly through the night. She is house-trained with very few accidents, knows basic commands like “sit” and “wait,” and has a decent recall. She has become more food-motivated, which helps with training, and she absolutely loves her outdoor walks! Willow was diagnosed with a thyroid condition about 18 months ago, for which she requires medication (we have a 2-3 months’ supply). She has also been on calming pills due to recent home renovations but is expected to manage fine without them now that things have settled. Recently, she surprised us by doing exceptionally well in kennels, despite initial concerns. The staff adored her, which was a big win!
